The ATLAS SDAE 2001/L FreeStyle and Dance Skating Plate with Steering Damper Truck  is Die Cast in Aircraft Aluminum.

The ATLAS Steering Damper is a major Evolution in the Roller Skate as the World’s First Self-Adjusting Pivot Pin System. The Steering Damper Truck uses a replaceable Urethane Spring to control the Pivot Pin Shaft which slides up and down through the collar, which is screwed tightly into the special Blue Anodized Truck with a Steel Axle. The Steering Damper Always maintains the proper tension and support to the Pivot Pin. A Properly Adjusted Pivot Pin will provide true accurate edges with the action occurring on the Suspensions (Cushions) where it should.
